Haha I got it.
It's just the arrow keys.
This is one crazy game.

Dont forget to use the auto pilot!

-Press N, press N again, input the travel code and when your back at the car seat screen, just press A! after that you just need to adjust how fast you go with the - & + keys (or use W for the super fast warp speed).

There is a manual for this game in the Steam game folder - it is MANDATORY if you intend to beat this game.

I wouldn't definitely read the manual. This game is so old, it's from an era of when reading a manual was common practice. :-)

Make sure to write down the full names of every character in the game, so you can ask other characters about them. You can use autopilot if you want, but once you get a hang of the controls, I found them very easy to get used to. I actually had fun playing the flight simulator portions.

I would say about 1/3 of the game is flight simulator, 1/3 character conversations and shooting, and 1/3 room searching with adventure game puzzles.

Good luck, and have fun!

I never bothered with the flight sim (I think you might be able to add cycles to DosBox so that you arrive to your destination faster)

The help-screen (press H) lists all the controls. I also wonder how far you would get without the manual.

The manual gives you some basic starting points, I'm not sure if they are all given to you in the introductory text (I'll verify one day, but not today ;) )

The manual is included with the Steam release:
Right Click the game
Choose to view manual :)

Well, if your extremely clever, you can ask Tex's secretary about all the names included in the intro and pretty much get the adress of everyone in the manual.

Still, that would be pretty unusual. Cause the game itself doesnt tell you about Vanessa (the secretary) and you would have to blindly press V to get to her.

If all the names are there that then it's actually pretty standard :)

Don't forget to take advantage of your informant, Lee Chin by pressing L.

I've nearly finished the game and I didnt realise there was warp speed... :'(

I'd just have a book open
I just printed the manual, as I dont like read long texts from computer (I hate e-books), After geting used to the game controls It feels like the newer tex murphy games, just need to type everything, the gun fights are pretty hard on this day standard the normal is this day very hard. But I reccommend to play it, its fun!
