Cursor Issue

I have no issue booting the game, but when I combine the can and funnel at the beginning my cursor disappears and I can't do anything. I am not sure if my cursor is disappearing and I am losing any control within the game or if the game itself is freezing up. Either way, I'd like to play this game but I am met with this game breaking bug early on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
