Voyage: Journey to the Moon

Voyage: Journey to the Moon

Cursor disappears with Windows 10.
Hi!

I just bought this game and I couldn't play at all because at the very beginning when I touch the mouse the cursor disappears from the screen and I have to press Ctrl+Alt+Del to exit the game.

I have windows 10, can somebody help me with this issue?

Thank you.

I'm having this issue too and I can't figure it out. I have tried the game in compatibility mode, and windows xp virtual machine just to see if it was windows 10 that was the problem. Same result.

I finally worked it out! And it runs perfectly!

Do you still have that problem?

Here's what I did:

Forget about the compatibility mode. If you have windows 10 do this:

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\Journey to the Moon > Select the file Game (or Game.exe depending on your configuration) then right click on it > Properties > Compatibility and select "disable scalloing" > Apply > Accept > and run it as administrator.

It worked flawlesly!

After tha you can start the game fron the icon on your desktop when you want to play again.

I hope it works for you too!

Hey, I wanted to try to follow this to make my game to work (it would always freeze the moment I'd craft somet hing in the menu and cursor would disappear) but I tried putting the rendering on software and now the game doesn't booth anymore. Could you tell me in the config file (opening it with notepad or something) your settings? It should be the "MIXING" one at the very top.

Ren, right click on your desk -> "display settings" and look for "scale" (idk the english exact name of this option, but that's a way to increase the size of all things) put this to 100%
OK So what JUST worked for me is, I checked under compatibility "disable fullscreen optimizations" and under change high DPI settings, I checked both Program DPI and High DPI scaling override. THEN, in the config file, I changed the bFullscreen=1 from a 1, to a 2. Now it works properly!
