Cool game. Steam needs to make the previous two parts of the Egypt trilogy available.

Pretty solid old school adventure game. It's not us unfriendly as older games in the genre tend to be, as item pickups are usually pointed out, and puzzle solutions are often (but not always) well hinted at.

The game's Ancient Egyptian setting is its biggest strength, and the amount of detail really speaks to the developer's passion on the subject. There's even a pretty comprehensive encyclopedia that's genuinely interesting to read (and dare I say, educational).

The story's not going to blow you away, but for a lower-to-mid budget game this old, it's fine.

OMG I was so happy when I found this game. Although I could only play it in compatibility mode because it immediately crashed on my Windows 11 PC, I was amazed by the beauty and charm of this old, quite short puzzle game.

The Egyptian Prophecy: The Fate of Ramses is a Point & Click Adventure game and actually the third and final part of the Egypt trilogy. You play the young magician Maya who has been ordered by Pharaoh to investigate the strange accidents that have recently occurred at the great obelisk’s worksite. The visuals are quite nice for a 20 year old game, the puzzles are decent and the Egyptian lore is interesting.

Note: if you cannot get past the start screen, remember to set the compatibility settings to Windows Vista and run the game using Egypt3.exe and not through the Steam client.

The game is not necessarily bad but the controls are just awful. And above all, when I almost finished the game, of course it crashed and a progress of few hours was lost. So if you choose to play be sure you save your game often. Probably this game worth just if you can buy it with a big discount.

Loving ancient Egypt and old gen graphic adventures, I appreciated this title (and the older ones) as an ancient fairytale unraveled in fascinating locations such as temples and quarries. On the other hand the technical issues are so many that the magic often disappears struggling with the frustrating graphic engine. Anyway as old school gamer I'm used to and, due to the lack of similar contents, my overall opinion remain positive.

Windows 11 user here. To avoid crashes to desktop simply go to the game folder, select Egypt3.exe, right click, click on Show more options, then Properties then go to Compatibility tab, and select Run in compatibility mode for Windows Vista. Press OK. Now double click on Egypt3.exe and you are good to go. No more crashes.
