chapter 4 at 100% but cant play chapter 5

any reason as to why this happens? or per chance is there something from chapter 1 to 4 i've picked wrong that isn't letting me past?

Completing chapters to 100% is its own thing and is not required for unlocking chapters. It's your *choices* that unlock the chapters. If you're trying to follow a single girl, you'll find the chapters harder to unlock. Some players seem to have heratburn over this design choice, but it doesn't seem to me like the game was designed for chasing a single girl. You kinda have to play them all at once to get the best results.

Check the Guides section. There are a couple there that will help.

got that but chapter 5 and 6 seems to be repeated in the guide and i cant get past chapter 5 now lol

Well if you want to try a different strategy, here's a walkthrough (up to but not including chapter 6) that you can try. It was designed for a specific purpose (getting the Water Gun Fight achievement), but it will definitely help you unlock chapters 5 & 6.

I know I'm late, so hopefully you found your answer. But you have to make the default choices 1st. Follow the guide "My ID is Gangnam STYLE" just posted for you. It gives you the answer to the default choices.
