Bus Driver doesn't load! Win 10 OS

Hi, one and all, I recently purchased Bus driver, along with ETS2 & ATS, the latter two run fine, but when I try to run Bus drive I get the follwoing message, 'Operating system failed to provide a window for the graphics to render', or along those lines!
Any help would be appreciated :)

Pretty old game, don't expect to run it on win10 without problems.
People make this fail often. Enjoying recent trucking games from Scs, and decide to get other titles from them, but all others are very old, and running bad on modern computers. Some of them doesn't have antialiasing in directx mode because they preferred opengl, so you play a totally jaggie ugly game or run opengl mode to fully max out the game with performance problems.
Sorry i can't help you directly because i have win7 and this game runs perfect. But a friendly advice: don't touch the old stuff from scs, only if you will play them on a crappy old laptop. Haulin, Bus Driver, American Longhaul etc were great games in their time but are very outdated currently with their totally prehistoric game engine.
I can suggest only Extreme Trucker 1-2, those are a bit younger, both directx and opengl modes have same options, and the game has proper field of view and overall playability. Try them if you want some old scs feeling.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my post. To be honest I was wondering if it was a bit of a legacy game. Probably another daft question, but are ETS2 ATS or other similar Driving Sim availble for Xbox 360/Xbox one?

Hi, In which case, neither am I Lol. Like I say, I just get the error message 'Operating system failed to provide a window for the graphics to render', or along those lines! I guess I could try running it at 64bit when I load it?

try installing Direct X 9.0c or Direct X 8 & see if that fixes your issue.....

Hi, bit of an update. I got it working, but it won't see my Xbox 360 controller?

I think the game can be to old for that controller. Google is your best friend and yes the game works on Windows 10 as you saw. Played 43 mins before i got bored :P

when you click bus driver in your list, if you look to the right side goto config controller and then map the keys to the controller buttons, maybe that will work

i just tried it with my 360 controllor, goto settings / controller and they change the keyboard to keyboard and 360 controoller, the controller should work ingame but you still need mouse in menu

For me it works on Windows 10, GTX 1060 and I use OpenGL
