Why do SCS sell this yet in 2018?

Just bought T&Trailers for € 0.49 . (July 2018) Thought, nice game to do something else. Well, not for W10 (april update 2018).The text in the menu to configure is almost not readeble ,the graphics are on high settings but it looks aweful. My other games (ATS-ETS and F1 2016 do it well. Why do they sell it if its 2018? Happely its not much money, but get it out of your store SCS, or update the game to modern standards.

There's nothing wrong about selling older games. No, we won't update it, you're getting the game as it is, it doesn't make sense to support older games (I'm the one who added Steam achievements and leaderboards a long time after T&T got on Steam, btw).

If you want a game we support even 6 years after the release, then play ETS2. You can expect at least a few more years of updates. We simply can't do it for everything, only for successful projects (as it brings more money to pay our devs).

I'll check if there's anything wrong with rendering on W10 when I get back to the office in a week.

Works fine for me on Windows 10. Maybe you force some settings in your graphics driver settings that cause this issue?

This game is still good to play. I really enjoy the manouevering challenges without the need to drive for miles between destinations. I for one am glad it was still being sold.

Timmy the duck thief, i have ETS2 and ATS already, for years but i thought, come on lets buy a new game. Didnt know that it was that old and not updated. Else i didnt buy it !

@A3KP, A tiny bit of looking at the store page tells you the release year of every game. Ignorance is not an excuse. You have ATS and ETS2? Well you know what is new and what isn't... I played ETS on shareware before buying it for nostalgia sake, nothing more. Your pulling the wool over your eyes, no one else's, if you think SCS just produce a new game, no announcement, no forum explosion and sell it for less than a coffee!

Yes please don't take these down, they are good practice for CDL students if used with a wheel, pedals, and shifter.

To add to this, the graphics do look poor on default, but set them to high and they are still perfectly good for the age of the game. I still really enjoy this for all the challenging manouevering.

Following the same logic, all previous Witcher games should be overhauled, all previous Doom and Quake games should be remastered to utilize RTX 2080, also the Atari Vault, Contra, Aladdin, Sega Mega Drive, and many other collections should have Ray Tracing technology. Or else how dare they sell such an old games in 2020.

Side note, the year is 2020, and I've still put about 30 hours into it this year alone during times with no internet access. I'm almost done, got like 4 achievements to go.

No reason to not sell a perfectly functioning game that people are still interested in buying and/or playing in 2020.

Awesome game in 2021! That's what I needed to practice. SCS should be proud of it.

Works perfectly well on Win 10 for me. i love buying old classic steam games.
