Working on Windows 10 x64?

Hi guys,

is this game working without any problems on Windows 10 x64 or are there any problems?
Was anybody able to try it?

I play it since start 2007 from win xp, win 7, win 10, directX 9 or 10 never but never have a problem. Keep your pc updated drivers etc and all will be fine. Worked great on Windows 7 Pro 64bit and still works great after the Windows 10 Pro 64bit upgrade - with recent NVidia drivers (368.39).

The game doesnt work for me on both windows 8 and 10. the guns and characters are invisible and the leaf textures are just squares.

This sound more like a problem with the graphic driver or the video card. Give us more information about them.

I'm not really sure what information you want me to provide. Can you elaborate a little? I've tried to play the game on my windows 10 PC and my windows 8 laptop but i have the same problem on both.

We would need the type of your video cards. Press Windows-key and the Pause-key simultaneously. This should bring up the System. There you click on Device-Manager. In Device-Manager double-click on "Display adapters". Tell us what you find there.

For the drivers - double-click the entries under Display adapters and in the properties look at the Driver tab. There you should find the driver version.

Post this infos and maybe we can help you.

The same for me! Guns, characters, barrels, whip.... All invisible!!!!!
Windows 10 64 bit, 17 4510u, geforce 840m. Not tested in HD 4400.

Didn't work for me too. Cannot even launch the game: an error message pops up when I try to launch the game. Translating in english (my W10 is in brazilian portuguese), it says something like "the app cannot open correctly (0xc0000018)".
Tryed almost every compatibility option, with no avail. My system specs: Intel7 3770, MB Gigabyte, 16GB RAM, Sound Blaster Z, GeForce GTX 1070

Something I miss?

Guys, concerning my issue above, the correct translation to english is "Aplication not inicialized correctly (0xc0000018). Click 'OK' to finish execution"

I had the exact same problem as you.
Didn't work on Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 (upgraded from Windows 8.1).
The solution is to clean install Windows 10.
After that, don't "re-install" other Steam games from your library to make sure you have "clean" DirectX. It run without problem on my case after that.

Exactly the same problem on Windows 10. The same error is 0xc0000018. I even wrote technical support for the Techland forum, but they did not answer me. I would not like to put in the favor of the game Winds 8.1, but as I understand it, this problem is unresolved.

the problem above is common with cracked copies, since my cd broke and i lost my code (and my old ubisoft registration) i downloaded a cracked version, it worked on my older win 7 craptop, but it wouldn't work on my better win 10 laptop, interestingly enough, after i installed it it told me dx 12 isn't supported.
