Am I the only one that bought this not knowing about invisibility?

I wish there was at least an option to make it so players were visible all the the time. I didn't know that it was the entire gimmick and the front page of Steam didn't really have any gameplay videos - just a couple of video highlights of people talking about how fun it was to screen look back in the day.

Really misleading, I feel dumb for not researching this more and making it an impulse buy.

I'm surprised there isn't a mode to enable it.

you cant really call it misleading, in the trailer the guy says
( when your opponents are all invisible and the only way to win is by screencheating) its in the steam trailer.. did you even see them ? because you said steam videos didnt show anything about it :\
I mean why would you need to screen cheat that much if you can just ... see them moving in-front of you

"Screencheat is an online and offline split-screen multiplayer FPS where everyone is invisible and you have to cheat to win." this is the exact wording from the games info. Also how is everyone being invisible a bad thing it makes the game interesting and not the usual fps.

because this is where the entire concept of the game came from? the games people used to screen cheat in, in split screen offline games, had visible players.

saying it again , by watching any trailer you would'v figured out what the game is about but studies shows that 90% of steam users dont even watch those

I am a little surprised that you didn't catch it. I heard about the game before it's release so I did know about the concept before hand but I am a little surprised. I suppose it is the steam equivilent to people on ebay bigging on a picture of an xbox rather than a real xbox. I do however both feel sorry for you and wish that I could have seen your face the moment you realised. Those lightbulb moments are rare.

At least you have a great game to play and who knows maybe you will fall inlove with it. I picked up the game because I used to play the original halo split screen on a map called hang em high and we would turn invisility on and using on snipers have to find each other using screen cheating.

I hope you enjoy the game even if it was a bit of a shock to you!

the reason you screen cheated was because u didnt know where they were, and now you definitly dont know where they are without screencheating. tis brilliant.

Yeah there is really no point in screencheating when playing a multiplayer normal FPS, thats just dumb, people even fight about that, nowdays there is not so much local-4player splitscreen because we can do "multiplayer" online, that killed the "sreencheating".

The concept of this game is so amazing, but anyways I guess some people need to see the other players in order to actually "screencheat" so the other players actually feel cheated. That makes no sense. If you do want normal 4player screencheat FPS I would recommend to get Serious Sam 3, it has 4 splitscreen, you can play with your friends and fight about that.

♥♥♥♥♥ please. Blood Gulch is where its at. Or Sidewinder. Wide open spaces make it nearly impossible to tell where they are, though the cloaks weren't perfect.

There is probable a cheat or mod somewhere that someone made for the game to make the player's visible cause someone wants to defeat the whole purpose of the game

If you find any screencheat mods anywhere, please let me know, I haven't been able to find anything.
