Am i the only one who prefers Saints Row over GTA?

I know a lot of people don't like the SR games because they are too comical or not serious enough or... not like GTA. And i don't like GTA because it's just too serious and boring for my taste, despite the old GTAs like SA, VC, i just can't get into GTA anymore after playing the SR games, my first one was SR:TT, and then after that IV, and only recently i played SR2, which is good too.

I like all those SR games, i haven't played the first one though, but i know SR started as a GTA copy to later evolve into something else. I can't say exactly what makes me like this series so much, if it's the craziness, awesomeness, stupidity or something else. I saw that even GTA V seemed have to copied SR in some missions, where you take a drug and can fly over the city and fight aliens, but that's okay. I guess GTA is trying to push for a more comical side without leaving its "seriousness".

But anyway, i just thought i share my opinion about the Saints Row franchise compared to the GTA games.

The order for folks who prefer GTA-style games.

The order for folks who like Saint's Row:

Saint's Row 3 > Saint's Row 4 > Saint's Row 2 > Saint's Row 1 > San Andreas > Watching Paint Dry > GTA IV

I prefer SR3 over any other GTA, but San Andreas is the superior game out of them all.

i loved SR3 + SR4! SR2 was ok but i liked 3 and 4 more... 4 was my favorite to be honest :D

i plan on pre-ordering gat out of hell because its something new (you get to play as gat or kinzie to save the boss) and i love the series :D IF i had enough cash i'd buy a xbox 360 just so i could play the orginal saints row but i don't have that kind of money so that ruins my day....

Hopefully Volition will remaster the first 2 SR games and release it for PC and current-gen.

Never really got in to GTA series. I need to buy to see it.
Also GTA V stock game option thingy, seems fun just for that haha.

SR2 was somewhat meh muddy in terms of graphics. Wish they HD it.
3 and 4 are awesome. 4 is more super hero and 3 is more
relaxed version of GTA i guess.

I loved vice city and san andreas, but when gta iv came out, I lost all interest in the franchise. When I played SR3 for the first time, I was hooked for life.

SR4 was kinda boring but I absolutely loved the second game. Way better story than any GTA game ive ever played. Not to mention its the superior of all SR games.
