What Boss?

Is this going to be Generic boss 101, or will you get some sort of choice ?
If the boss is nothing like my boss, they why am i calling him boss ?

Does any one else feel, that not being the boss in Saints Row seems wrong some how. Ever since the end of SR1, I was the boss.

I hope they at least let you download a boss design from the previous games from the site if you had any uploaded.

I heard mentions of it being an expansion pack for Saints Row 4, much like how Blood Dragon was an expansion pack for Far Cry 3. Could be some form of communication between both games assuming you have both? I dunno....

wrong you was not the boss in Saint's Row 1 well not at the start but in the end of it and it feel right for Gat is the right guy to save the boss's ass

If you have a local Saints Row IV save, Gat out of Hell will import the boss from the last dated one and use him/her in the cutscenes.

was looking for this info. i can tell that it didnt worked for me. I usually play female boss in saints row 3 and 4 and suddently here in this game the boss was male with strange female voice and most of voice text just dissapeared. pretty weird!

Seems like some sort of bug. You can try making a new save. I remember that I didn't like how my boss looked in her jumper. So when to the image shop in saints row 4, saved it, and gat out of hell loaded that save.

I'm having similar problems, except the save is apparently "corrupted". Do you think the Workshop mods might modify save data?

EDIT: Never mind, still encountering the same problem with "corrupted" or "invalid" saves.

That explains why in the intro the boss was a male, while the boss i've made in SRIV is female.
I suspect it has to do with the addition of steam workshop to Saints Row IV. Prior to that release they changed the saveformat as well. Before that Saints Row IV didn't had the workshop.
So everybody with the newer version, which is downloaded automatically (unless you turn off the update function) is screwed now as that savefile isn't readed by Gat out of hell. Guess i have to put the game aside for a while, until Volition fixes it (if they are permitted to do so)

I completed SR4 on another PC years ago before starting GOOH. I was very pleasantly surprised to see my dreadlocked Rick James-lookalike president in the opening cinematic.

That's even more odd. Sounds like your game is missing files or your saves are corrupt.
