Kill Tragedy Demons
This is the last challenge I have left to do, yet I have no idea where to find these guys. They don't seem to spawn from standard notoriety, and the description says they are somewhere called the Den.

Anyone else know where do go for this one?

Go to the entertainment district and they should spawn from notoriety there.

hmm..... I found the district called "Debtor's Den" which is on the island with all the casinos and such. Tried numerous runs through notoriety all the way, and never saw a single one of these guys.

After having tried to get one of these guys to spawn for a few more hours of playtime, still nothing. Has anyone actually done this and can verify exactly how/where to find these guys?

I'm having a similar problem. I've been going all over the island. Maybe it's just in one spot and I'm just unlucky in finding it?

So I just tried causing chaos outside of the Tempest (next to Snowball's Chance and where Shakespeare is), I finally got these guys to spawn. They only seem to spawn though on lower notoriety and not very frequently. I probably get 5 or so kills in each cycle.

Now I'm seeing them randomly throughout the whole entertainment district whenever I have notoriety... whereas I wasn't seeing them at all before. I have no idea why. And I tried outside of Tempest before (including other locations), and found nothing. Maybe it was some bug where I had to restart the game and load my save... or something. :cwat:

from what i have seen, there is a chance when notoriety starts to replace all basic enemy spawns during this notoriety with tragedy demons

This never happened for me, most I ever got was 3-5 per cycle. Typically a monster truck would pull up on the third bar with maybe a couple more on bikes. Once you kill those, notoriety increases too much and you only get stronger demons.

In either case, seems this challenge is somewhat inconsistent and the description for it is inaccurate. They don't only spawn in the Den, in fact they never spawned there for me personally.

"The Den" is the entirety of the north-east corner of the map. So in fact the description is bang on, since they can spawn anywhere at anytime in any district of The Den.

That's true. They can spawn anywhere in The Den. However, it seems there might be a bug (or there "was" a bug if they fixed it) where they sometimes don't spawn at all. The first time I made an attempt at this achievement, I spent a couple of hours wandering around The Den killing everything I could and I never had one tragedy demon appear (I even tried just outside of Tempest as was suggested earlier, but it didn't work for me). Out of frustration I stopped playing for the day. The next day or two later, I logged in and tried again, and they started appearing randomly all over the zone. I'm not sure why, but something was definitely preventing them from spawning for me before.

Hello i know this is like realy late to the party as it were but was working on a playthrough of this gamea gin recently and had a little trouble with these guys myself found this post read through all the suggestions and thought about it for a minute while working on one or two of the other kills and i think i found a solution its is a little slow and requires patients but a "wave" for lack of a better word woudl spawn at realy low notoriety but by the time they spawn and you kill them they would stop spawning due ot being out of thier spawn range as it were. What i did was start notoriety keep it within the first bar to first half of the second bar a "wave" of tragedys would spawn. Kill them off and run to drop down to within the first bar killing shadows as needed to get them off my back then stop notoriety lose usualy just just killing a husk or 2 and wait for a new "wave" to spawn. was only a little over half done with them when i found this managed ot get most from this stratagy. This stratgy works in basicly every area of the den that mobs usualy spawn in. Hope this helps good luck and happy hunting.

So just did this going from 15/100 to 100/100, took about 45 minutes. Can confirm you have to go the top right corner of the map (shakespeares district) and get to notoriety level 2, then 2-5 tragedy demons spawn.

Thanks to Gonutz89 for the wave tip. How I did it was get to notoriety level 2 (I got it just barely past notoriety level 1). Waited for enemies to spawn (tragedy demons would usually be the first to spawn, usually with 2 in a monster truck and 2 on motorcycles for 4 kills total). Then you can run out of view to let notoriety level lower to 1, and then shoot someone to bring it back up to 2 to have more spawn.
Personally, I decided to just use an ammo machine to reset notieriety after getting my 4 kills, then killing some husks and whatever around to get back to 2. Rinse and repeat.

I also had an armored truck spawn right next to me almost every time after resetting notoriety. Not sure if I just got lucky with one spawn and had it reset with notoriety every time, but it was kinda handy. Putting a few bullets into it instantly brought me back to notoriety 2 after resetting. I never hijacked the armored car, that would prob break the loop.

I did all this right next to the topmost ammo machine in the district, but tragedy demons spawn occur everywhere in shakespeares district.
