Question about the Co-op.
Hello,
I've played Saints Row 3 and 4, the co-op was quiet crap, especially on lan. Just wanted to ask if they fixed it in this game or is it still the same?

The Co-op system is the same but its best that other wise both players have close or exact same amount of performance on the game. If both players dont have that one has a better the other has worse then the player with the worse pc will have teleportation problems which trust me can be a real pain.

Well than the other player should get a decent pc. Its not that expensive.

You do relaise Demise that LAN is the closest you can get. I was asking to play it with my boyfriend. We are on the same router.

Huh? I'm playing SR4 currently, and the Online-Coop is quite good, really. There are 50ms delay shown ingame, but never noticed any problems.

i was mainly just trying to point out that the spec shouldn't need to be the same.
Really you should not get any lag on LAN unless you had something else using you're router while playing or if you're router is old.
Have you ever tried co-op online to see if it's any better?

I know a friend on steam had to set up a LAN for SRIV to do the last mission as when they did it online the host would land on the drop bits where the other person would just crash and die,
But when they did it on LAN it was fine and i'm sure the 2nd pc they used was a really old laptop which it's spec was under the recommended.

We both have powerfull gaming pcs. So it cant be that. But I must admit our router is a bit old, but still if we play other games we have no problems whatsoever. It is just on this game series, which is a shame really. But I've seen other couples with the same problem, so I know its not us. Yes we tried online play and the lag is even worse. I think its just the game tbh. Thought they would of fixed it in the new one. But if they dont well than I just have to get one copy (:
