Saints Row: Gat out of Hell

Saints Row: Gat out of Hell

Quick Ways To Get Legit Money?
I'm a total completionist, and the only challenge I need is to fully upgrade every weapon. Now, I've beaten the game and every side activity, and only had enough money to fully upgrade half the weapons after upgrading Gat. I've just been grinding the most profitable diversions for hours and it's getting to be tedious as hell (no pun intended). Is there a quicker or more fun way to make money without cheating/hacking/modding?

The only diversion that seems to be a good, quick payoff is stealing the truck for The Twins. I thik it's 5,000 a shot delivered. One stone freeze, unload with a shotgun or the diamond SMG until you can get in the truck, and just drive it away.

The quickest way overall to make money has to happen relatively early on, and only if you've increased health and resistance, and maxed out the diamond smg and easier if you have unlimited SMG ammo and instant smg reload. Just go to a survival (the one near the Ultor building is good), diamond shoot everyone, and leave the area before killing the last of the quota. Wait the 5 or 10 seconds, then go back agaiin. Killing the demons with the Diamond SMG gives a lot of money in very little time, and only weak ones tend to spawn (basic red guys, and winged ones, but no legionaires, archdukes, snipers, imps, or tanks. And I think no grenadiers or floating red circle guys).

One of my few big issues with the game is the money. Though the Rambulance was also really tedious for me.

Honestly, a nice and probably simple bonus feature they could have given after beating the last survival is opening up a "never ending survival" arena. Set it in one of the usual placs (an extraction site, the prison, Satan's throne room, Blackbeard's ship, etc.) Every enemy spawns, but beating an archduke doesn't stop the "mission," you just go until you die. Saints Row The Third had something like that, but not never ending.
Infinite ammo/instant reload diamond SMG + vortex stomp = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I really like the survival idea. On the topic of the trucks, I've moved past those. The Hard difficulty tank mayhem can be beaten in under 5 minutes, and gives 750 more than the trucks, It's almost faster to do those instead.
you can skip the painful grinding for upgrades with mods: http://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/threads/updated-1-31-15-1-weapon-upgrades-1-player-upgrades-and-1-point-super-power-upgrades.8942/

That mod will make all weapons upgrade cost $1, I use that since I'm too lazy to grind for it.
So I'm sure you've completed this by now, but if there are others that are still painfully grinding away (on a console where modding is a no-go) after finishing every other activity & target, I found the quickest activity to earn $5750 (w/ the 15% bonus) was the medium-difficulty mayhem w/ the frog-grenade launcher in the downtown district area. Running forward and toward the parking lot to your right after the start while strafing the covered shopping area and occasionally spinning a few quick shots around racks up a quick 20-40 combo, and by the time you're done blowing up all the cars that spawn in the parking lot one short block away past the store-area the activity is over in less time than it probably took to read this description. Activating an aura power prior to initiating it makes this already short activity even quicker as you speed-walk and each iteration can be finished in roughly 30 seconds. Throw in a few of the armor-car thefts that sometimes spawn immediately after finishing the activity to break up the monotony and it isn't the worst thing in the world to do!
Not to be negative, but no. The fastest way to make money is hit a Sin Extractor, murder everything inside with the greed guns, run outside and kill til you're almost at the boss fight on your wanted level or it gets too hot,and then run into the extractor again, which resets your wanted level to 3. Repeat until rich. Vortext stomp for quick cash grabbing. As long as you don't complete the extractor, you can do this forever. Endless targets, endless cash.

You can also use this to finish off weapon quests, super power useage, and anything else kill oriented.
Shoot husks with the diamond ultimate in the Tempest (shakespear's club in the N.E. sector). They respawn rather quickly when your not looking at em. The respawn slows down when your notoriety get high. At that point i go outside and finish of some of the large group of enemies waiting outside. When the archduke spawns switch to maxed ice/fire aura (the freeze lasts way longer than stone blast) and finish him off to reset notoriety and then head back inside to kill more husks. I haven't timed it but is works pretty quickly and theres no annoying cutscenes to sit through (except the archduke death animation). Every once in a while the cat furry pops up (annoying lil bugger) i tend to switch to ark of the covenant to kill him as it seems pretty fast, still experimenting on fastest way to kill him.
