Worth the buy?
As a fan in the series, is this going to be worth the 20$ or should I just wait until it's cheaper?

If you're able to get a lot of fun out of the sandbox of SR4, as I do, then I think it's worth the $20. If you're only interested in completing activities and then being done with it, I'd wait for a sale.

Btw, I'm having a blast just flying around. It's really fun. :)

Better wait for a sale:tongue:
I acually enjoy messing around in the world of SR4. The flight thing seems like it'd be fun to mess with. But thanks for your opinions.

Since this is a standalone expasion of SRIV and even the cost of 20 dollars is not bad for what your getting but I would wait for a good sale on it which will happens a lot and it will be worth the money.

There's really very little gameplay content and the main quest is so damn short that $20 is normally overpriced, thus waiting for it to go on sale would ensure you get a better deal. However if you're a super fan of the series and are hungry for more of SR4's superpowers and craziness then $20 is worth it.

Personally I preordered it lol, not sure if it was worth it but I am still getting a lot of fun out of it!

honestly i thing there is more then enough content for the 20 bucks they ask.

i would say that if your a fan you will enjoy it specialy cus the jokes just get sillier every time XD
i love it.

Eh, it is good...not great. It is a reskinned 4 in every way possible...they didn't even bother to reskin the UI. Major downers are the lack of custom clothes, weapons, and the plot advances whether you want it to or not. This game is constantly taking control of you and warping you to the next plot point. That really annoyed me. Actually I just quit playing because of it. What is the point of open world if it is so on rails that you can't even enjoy it. You can't make the plot advance any faster either. It is kinda like there is some sort of faffing about meter that wants you to faf about for a certain amount of time, but doesn't want you to faf about too much. There is some little faffing about demon behind the scenes going, "oops, too much much faffing about, trigger the next cut scene."

You should wait, this game is worth $10 to $12 dollars. $20 is a bit much for what it is.

Incredibly short game like 3-4 hours. Not even half good as the last Saints Row.

DO NOT BUY IT!

There isnt even 10 bucks worth of content! If saints row 4 was a baseball bat, Gat outta Hell is merely a toothpick.

I'ma big fun of SRs. SO big that I forgive them SR4th and prepurchsed GOOH. Don't buy it. It will be on sale soon enought. I give a yesr to see it in cheap bundles.

for $20 it is pretty good as long you enjoy enjoy SR4 sandbox section, blasting a bunch of demons are great fun to me. The weapons are not really interesting but there are a few which are fun.

The powers they offer are pretty similar as SR4 as well other than the "Imp" power, most of them work the same. Flight is fantastic, it is miles better than the gliding SR4 has.

Missions are pretty poor actually, is the same bunch of side activity. I did finish it but I wont bother playing those again.

Story is non exitant since it is only 3 cut scene long, the singing section are hilarious though.

There is a modding community here: http://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/

Which could fix the problem for some players who wanted to play as their "boss", they manage to port all the default SR4 clothing over as well. The only problem is "boss" cant speak.

This little stand alone is still better than GTA4.

It'll be worth the buy when it goes on sale. It's really quite mediocre.

For me New hades is way better then stillport ten times better... you even have a shopping district... still port lack variety and the map is boring here you have so much different things to see and the map is not only in the ground it has a lot of things in the air too definitely worth the value price... This is more Saints row IV then the main game... i prefer a SR IV in New Hades then in ♥♥♥♥ stillport... its only lack customization... stop being so cheap guys its the price of a pizza you cant afford a pizza... i have a lot of hours of fun with this...
