Inside a building

I was stuck for a bit halfway into a wall.
I kept twisting around and eventually got through the wall.
The problem is that going through the wall got me to the inside of a small rectangular building, and now I can't get back out.
I'll try uploading a screenshot.

Wasn't there an option in the menu to return to the base? Or it was in the second game, can't remember.

Sounds like you have glitched out. You'll probably have to go back to your last save, and if that's not possible then you'll have to start over.

no, as far as i see in both games there is no option to return. After you collect the item in this one for Taku, your auto returned to the centre with a cut scene

Ive played through the whole game few weeks ago never got stuck once so that's weird, sounds like a glitch yes.
