The remnant creatures only have control over the corruption that they themselves are made of - they can't heal humans of their injuries: Taku got better only because Miku sacrificed her own health to treat him.
This game gave me some afterthought, may want to go back and look at those pictures. I already have some dark theories, thanks for answering!
Are they infected human ? So Miku will become one of them if they didn't cure her ?
Kinda. From what I gathered from the City Story, the Remnants are copies of the city's original human inhabitants made by the "Mass" that rose after the world was flooded (as are the whales and other creatures). The implication was that Miku was being infected by whatever changed them too. They're also described as "FRND" in the Creature section which implies that they are "Friends" because they helped her.
