City Of Brass
How to beat the first boss without taking damage? [SPOILER]
I can now finally beat the first boss - but i can't do it without taking a beating.
Her three orbs really sting me as they chase me around.

Is there something else i should be doing other than whipping at them wildly?

whip the first(I take the middle) one right when it appears, you can start the whip animation shortly before it is actually there to instantly whip it(you can kinda see them build up). then whip the other two while backtracking/dodging, if you do it without delay you can whip both before the next three are summoned. also keep strafing around the.. thing it is in. repeat till dead.

Ill try whipping earlier then.
I tend to try and use the wooden lattices to catch some of the orbs at first but once they are gone im backpedling like a mo-fo.

Whip the middle one, then whip the second one (doesn't matter which), and after you do that you'll have enough time to move around and avoid the last one. After the cooldown on whip ends, hit the third one.

Rinse and repeat.

Start off from a medium distance and move backwards each time you whip the orbs.

I´m stuck at this part. I´m doing that but..how many times? do I have to hit the sorcerer after breaking the orbs? or she will be defeated after several orbs are broken?

The orbs will hurt her as well once her shield is down, so if you like, you can just keep reflecting her orbs until she dies.

Alternatively, whip until the shield is gone, and then throw an explosive pot at her and she should go down (without the double health burden)

You can attack her by yourself or via orbs doesn't matter

You can hide by column to neutralize 1 orb. You have plenty time then to deal with other 2 ones.

I also find it helps to keep my back to a wall - the orbs home in on you, but if they hit the wall first they explode, and if that's far enough away from you, you won't take any damage.

Oh nice.
I was trying to use the pillars and breakable lattices for that but this sounds way smarter.

Thanks for giving me your tip...... no wait.... that came out wrong.

You literally dont even need to move at all if you positioning yourself with blocking one orb by pillar. Just whip timing have to be accurate to hit other sphere as earlier as possible and then you're ok with third one.
This "early hit" technique also will be helpful in next levels with red and green mages.

This can be true, as long as you make sure to clear out all the nearby enemies before beginning the fight - nothing like being blindsided by an Archer while you're in the thick of it.

I realize I'm late to the party but if you stand between the pillars & await the orbs and aim where the middle one spawns... whip the middle one immediately then as soon as the other two start to get near you, just take a step forward and they will blow up behind you. The boss becomes totally insignificant with this strat.
