You could as well just play Quake Champions.
Modern DOOM games are made for singleplayer, not multiplayer. Even if TDA had multiplayer, it would probably have an insignificant amount of players, also how do you implement those singleplayer mechanics in a multiplayer game? Because giving everyone a shield and letting them throw at eacother sounds like a boring idea, just saying.
