some questions about the tech requirements

Hey guys
I just pre orded doom tda and i was wondering if i could run the game with these specs
Ryzen 5 7235 HS
RTX 3050
12 gig ram
I don't know if this game can run at low settings, but elden ring ran pretty good even when i couldn't reach the mininum settings

You definitely don't meet minimum requirements, for either the CPU or the GPU. But there is still a chance it's possible with rock bottom settings. But you won't know that until the game is out and people start trying it on systems that are under the official specs.

I mean i had an old laptop that couldn't reach elden ring's cpu, gpu, and ram requirements but it still ran stable at 60 fps. I'm hoping tda runs 60 fps
the RTX 3050 should be good right?

DA has much higher requirements then Elden Ring. Your CPU only has 4c/8t when the minimum is more then double that, and 3050 is quite a bit worse then the minimum 2060 Super. Plus you don't even meet the 16GB RAM minimum. Things are not looking good here, sorry.

so i just went on pcgamebenchmark and it says that my 3050 meets the minimum gpu requirements, so I'm hopeful

It doesn't though. RTX 2060 Super performs around 25% better on average and that's the minimum. It's your closest part to minimum requirements sure, but still officially not there.

Least you've got a RTX card though.. im still gaming on a 8 year old 1080ti 11gb which im probably going to get that $3000+ 5090 32gb card in the next two months.

You're not the only one in this situation. I still have a 1080 SC, had it since 2017 and have been testing just how far I can push it before it reaches its limits. The Dead Space remake was that point, and I too will be needing a better card when the Dark Ages comes out.

Doom 3, 2016 and Eternal all run great on Switch and the Steam Deck.

id could get Doom TDA running on the current Switch, Deck and a calculator if they tried.
