Because the devs are stuck in the stone age. 2025, and you can't even play as a woman, let alone a member of the LGBTQ+ community. It's a pathetic attempt to promote patriarchy in modern times.

This game will flop bad, and Bethesda will kill the franchise. John Carmack better stop being stubborn and tell his underlings to design LGBTQ+ demons and allow people to play as Doom Girl.

Lines of evidence are important when building a case; while not the smoking gun on its own, it provides support to one’s argument in combination with other information. You’re assuming that Tom Hall said BJ was Jewish to “ingratiate himself with certain people”, but aside from a general vibe, you have no proof of this being the case. You’re absolutely right, Germany did have thousands of POWs from various countries and of various ethnicities, but given that we have the original creator of BJ Blazkowicz saying his mother is Jewish, then he was likely intended to be a Jewish POW. Because I brought up exactly what happened per the lore of the game and the lore according to its creator, then it is evidence, you dunce. There is no evidence of a retcon, only that the information about BJ’s heritage was clarified recently. A retcon would suggest that there was prior information known, only to be changed later. This is not the case. Sorry, but you lost. Please don’t try to argue again.
