DOOM: The Dark Ages For Modern Audiences

The doom slayer is stoic, muscular, powerful, intelligent, competent, heterosexual and cool; in other words, the personification of masculinity. He's also white. This is all problematic for modern-day audiences.

To fix this issue we must add at least one bug-eyed black woman who is better than the doom slayer in every way. A black queen that he must rely on to save the day.

We'll see about that. But I don't think they'll pull this kind of risks, the cost will be too high.

I'll tell you this much. If they add one fruity thing to this game, I won't be buying it. If they add any unnecessary minorities, females, or homosexuals... I'm out. There are decades of old and good video games without the fruity propaganda. I don't need to buy any game "made for modern audiences."

If modern day activists don’t like doom, tough. We don’t want identity politics and woke crap in games anymore. We want action. Adventure. And Doomguy as the best badass. We don’t need to add anything else that involves wokeness. You don’t like it, don’t even bother. Why even complain about it?

speak for yourself. I like when games explore themes of identity and complex sociopolitical topics, I like simple fun too. Games existing that challenge your perceived norms aren't a threat you just drank the kool-aid
