DOOM: The Dark Ages

DOOM: The Dark Ages

The pc requirements are really sad
I imagine my gtx 1650 and amd ryzen 5 5600H are gonna explode from this. Not to mention the ridiculous price, it's over.

The price and force rtx is over. As well as denuvo.
It is indeed. Funny how I used to think that id cares about optimization and accessibility of their games because I was able to run 2016 and eternal on this exact setup perfectly fine

Your 1650 ain't gonna run it in the first place because it doesn't support RT.
Dante's Inferno could run better on your pc than this game.

go upgrade
Guess I'll just have to cope then. Maybe someday, maybe

GTX 1650 is comparable to the GTX 780 which is a 12 year old GPU. Expecting Doom Dark to run on that would be like expecting Doom 2016 to run on the GTX 6800 Ultra from 2004.

We'll see how the game actually runs on release.

Doom 2016 min req is GTX 670. That's a 2012 GPU, meaning it was a 4 year old GPU when the game launched. That would be the equivalent of Doom Dark having the 3070 as min req.

This game probably uses a similar engine as Indiana Jones: The Great Circle, as that game's engine is most likely a modified ID Tech Engine as it shows "Powered by ID Tech", so that explains the Ray Tracing requirement.
If this game is anything like that game, it will run pretty well, as the Indiana Jones game runs pretty smooth, tho denuvo is most likely going to screw it up.

Doom Eternal is one of the most well-optimized games I have literally ever seen.
