Alternative: dont buy into it if you dont like the prices. Sooner rather than later the game will be available for 10$

I feel like making critical comments about games is significantly healthier than seeing a critical comment about a game and looking up that person's post history to find something to say about them

I spent $100 on the ultimate edition. This game is going to be fire. If you want to get yours on sale, that's cool. But don't shame those of us who want it on release. Talk all the mess you want, at some point this game will be in your library. it's already on your cognitive.

Its iD software DOOM game. I will be playing this game for years. Its a bargain at full price for my entertainment. If you can't afford it, wait for it to go on sale. By then I will be quite content.
