No regional pricing? My take on the price for India

I really really love Doom. Doom Eternal is the game that I have replayed the most. With all that I was really looking forward to play this game on day 1, probably buy full edition.

But, the game costs ₹6000! That is full $70 without any regional pricing.
I was expecting to spend ₹3500 at most.
That's the pricing I am used to for AAA games, ₹1500 when discounted, ₹3000 on launch.
So this is more than just a step up.

I will probably wait for it to go on sale, or just end up getting game pass just to play this one game. Because quite honestly ₹6000 can buy too many other good games (I can probably fit in Cyberpunk, forza horizon 5 and one more game at least when discounted)

Unfortunately, this is the way for those who want to play it day 1. I was ready to shell out 3 to 4k for this game (I have 2000+ hours in the Doom series) but the regional pricing is terrible on this one. I will play it via gamepass and then buy it on a 75% discount a few years later.
