al frames are fake bruh.
With card prices and the chips market being what they are, it would be smartest to make Raytracing optional in your game.
But innovation and pushing technology are very important in game development, too.
Heck, I don't know. Just happy I have a 3070ti that should last me another 1-2 years.
At that time graphic cards were much cheaper. And better graphics actually had effects on gameplay at that time.(Like having more destructive environments or having euphoria ragdoll physics that weren't possible on weaker hardware. Or having more enemies on screen.)
Now better graphics just means "The game plays the same, but oh look. Now puddles on the ground have proper reflections !"
