Please don't make the Bethesda launcher a requirement
Please for ♥♥♥♥ sake don't make me install a launcher and make an account for it in order to play. I got one additional launcher/account next to Steam and that is one more than enough.

The Bethesda Launcher was sunset,[bethesda.net] which means they would have to create an entirely new launcher for this game that none of Bethesda's other games are using.

Now that you know this - and I'm hoping you previously didn't - would you like to gnash your teeth about that completely insane possibility some more?

Where have you been for the last 5 years? Bethesda launcher has been dead and gone since like 2019 or 2020 or something.

Launcher and account are two different things.

Either are an additional and highly superfluous step between purchasing, installing, and playing, for the end user.

Yes spending 10 seconds to enter a fake email account is just beyond the pale, like beyond my-skin-hasn't-seen-daylight-in-3-weeks pale.

No I don't think so - those 10 seconds are really precious and I can never ever have them back because the game is just taking everything that's valuable from me!
