Microsoft has been doing this for a while, some of their games were 70 in 2018/2019.
They do it to push as many people to game pass as possible.

Thought it will be 70€, like Indiana. But this is even more. As for Premium Edition, similar tactic as with Indiana Jones:

• artbook
  
• skin
  
• few days early to play (won't matter in future)
  
• story DLC (which we don't know how long and big will it be)

Like I said for IJ game, not worth it. Artbook will be online to find anyway, skin for first-person is a joke and wasting money on future DLC with no info, personally dumb decision. Good thing that it will on Game Pass

well, aside from the fact that you should never pre-order anyway, i am not paying 80 euro. I'm waiting on a sale.

I am not going to pay the tax for Bethesdas failure just because it's the one studio they have that hasn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥ things up yet.

Games also sell a ton more, are digital only on pc (no shipping, packaging, transportation, storage or any other costs associated with it). Games are also cheaper to make with easier to access libraries and asset generation that is happening a lot faster then 20 years ago.

Bloated Budgets doesn't mean game's are inherently more expensive at all now. They are cheaper to produce then ever. Companies also have much more robust onboarding techniques to teach new staff faster then what was happening back then.

For me 60 is the maximum I am willing to pay on the release, any company that tries to sell it for more is simply blacklisted.

Im an old school, diehard fan, who played all the old games in the mid 90s and loved the hell out of new ones, still a hard pass for this price. 80€ for anything of this format is just a rip off, especially with this "digital deluxe" bs with two days EA for 110€.

71 euro in Poland still i have to Pay more than canada or Us with much lower wages and Game has malware denuvo I am not buying it until it gets removed and goes on sale
