I feel sorry that i have to come here on the steam forums to actually tell the HARSH TRUTH nobody wants to tell about New Doom Games: DOOM ETERNAL IS ABSOLUT GARBAGE!!!!!!(DOOM: The Dark Ages is going to be a DOOM: Eternal 2.0)

Doom Eternal is LAZYLY REPETITIVE and BORING(Despite it being braindeadly fast paced) while Doom 2016 is the GOAT! (It is at least 1x times better than Doom Eternal)

You get a CONSISTENT EXPERIENCE while playing DOOM 2016, DOOM 3, Half Life 2, Crysis Franchise games, Cyberpunk 2077, Metro Franchise games, However... When Playing Doom Eternal... IT JUST FEELS LIKE SH*T!!!...

Doom 2016 is the GOAT! It is at least 3x times better than Doom Eternal.

WHY IS DOOM ETERNAL GARBAGE!?

-REPETITIVE COMBAT LOOP: The core gameplay loop of Doom Eternal is about killing waves of enemies and using the same arsenal of weapons and tactics over and over again... After a while, The action becomes ULTRA REPETITIVE, Especially in later stages where the same patterns of enemy types and arena-style combat are REUSED...

-REPETITIVE ENEMY ENCOUNTERS: Combat often boils down to a REPETITIVE set of enemy encounters. Once you're familiar with their behavior and the necessary strategies to defeat them, The combat can start to feel like you're just going through the motions.

-REPETITIVE LEVEL DESIGN: Every level/area is just an Arena full of enemies or a Platform where you jump here and there that is REUSED during the whole game...

OBSERVATION:

I have completely beaten(100%ed) Doom Eternal on the HARDEST DIFFICULTY at my Xbox Series S thanks to it being in the Xbox Game Pass(i woundint buy this sh*t) and... it was the WORST SINGLE PLAYER EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD IN MY INTIRE LIFE!!!...(i started gaming in 1998)

You're right, i played Eternal at my ps4, i thought it would be great like Doom 2016, i was totaly wrong, Eternal is dogsh♥t! If i could, i would refund this dogwater but when i realized this, it was too late...

Agree 100%. It was also, for me, the worst ID game experience so far!
And I tried to like it. 3 1/2 playthroughs and I just had to uninstall that crap for good.
I don't think Dragon Age will save this wannabe company.
Ubisoft and Bethesda have four times as many people, but it doesn’t matter if every head is untalented and only knows how to make copy-paste levels with very boring weapons and game mechanics.
Which is totally fine if your goal is to please and target the mainstream audience.
And I think that’s what ID has been desperately trying to do since 2016.
At least back then with 2016 they did a way better job and they weren’t leaning into it as much, but I could already see their greed for quickly and easily finishing a product.

I cannot compreend why people say doom eternal inst bad, it inst any bettter than doom 3 bfg edition and doom 2016 by anymeans.

Oh , you mentioned ID software, Bethesda and ubsoft, knowing that these big companies are pushing a woke culture on triple AAA games, im worried that the new doom guy could become a trans or BI.

I couldn't agree more. Doom Eternal ruined the game I once loved. I have played all of them except the DLCs of Eternal. I swear if they turn a new quake into Quake Eternal i'm going forever ban ID Software from my wallet.

I don't think Eternal is garbage, at worst it's a decent game with a lot of things holding it back, 2016 and E are like 2 completely different games.
With Eternal however, you can see more downgrades than upgrades

Yo, Doom tried hard to be anything but for sure not Doom since the second millenia kicked in, not a big news. Do you believe that 2016 / Eternal are the true essential ways of Doom? Laughable.

Theyre are trying so hard, But in the end, Its just another Serious Sam/Duken Nukem.
Doom 3 BFG was a Real change, its just like half life.
DOOM 2016 is great tho.
