Best weapon against the revenant?
The revenant is by far the most annoying enemy. I try to shoot plasma on him, but it just doesn't bite. What weapon do you prefer? Also, is he completely impervious when in ethereal state?

impaler or ssg also heaven splitter rune ignores his ghost form which will help you kill him faster
also shield stun technique destroys absolutely all opponents if you know how to use it

Shield Boost lock-on & Bash, then use SS or favorite CQC weapon.

Shield bash combined with SSG can put him into stagger state if all the pellets land.

Impaler is the obvious choice if you don't want to get in his face, but that thing is busted and works on all enemies anyway.

In addition to what's been said above, the Accelerator's "Heatblast" also bypasses the Revenant's etheral form, allowing you to damage and stun him regardless whether he's in it or not.

shock upgrades on shield and also you can shield stun if necessary but a few hits from a charged chainshot and they die

Shield throw as soon as they're corporeal. It locks them in place, vulnerable, and they can't attack. Then just super shotgun, or chainshot, or rockets/grenades, or whatever you've got that deals big damage fast.

Had to use a BFC to cancel 2 revenants appearing at the same time in the Swallowed Whole challenge. (map has extra bfc ammo why not lol).

Just toss your shield into him to stun him in place and pump 2-3 super shotgun shots into him and it's toast.
