Who else is extremely underwhelmed by the generic ass music? Man this only shows how insanely talented Mick Gordon is and what a colossal ♥♥♥♥ up it was from ID to lose him.

If someone from ID software ever reads this: BRING THE MAN BACK. Doom TDA would be far more exciting with his music...

I barely ever even NOTICED the music, it was so quiet and apologetic that if there'd been none i doubt i'd have noticed at all.

The problem is, its 100% not going to happen.

Marty Stratton (executive producer) at id Software absolutely screwed over Mick Gordon due to unpaid wage bonuses or something?, Mick refuses to work on any project with Marty. Mick has already stated hes not quit Doom, hes quit a toxic client.

Finishing Move were straight up the wrong call. id had Andrew Hulshult and David Levy already on the books, why did they decide to go corporate to a company who have no idea on the franchise? Hulshult literally did an entire remixed soundtrack for the Doom 1+2 release.

Nah, it's good as far as computer game music goes. The game released with a terrible audio mix so I found the OST because I was curious what the music actually sounded like without the ass mix drowning it out. A few tracks are nice and heavy, I listen to it sometimes outside the game.

Yeah, it's godawful in its mediocrity. Such a massive downgrade from Eternal that I could not stand it.

I almost wish I could have the ♥♥♥♥ taste some people seem to have to not be bothered by it lmao that almost sounds nice.

Not making amends with and bringing back Gordon was a huge mistake.

Yeah the music while playing the game was entirely forgettable. I had to listen to the OST to realize how good some of the tracks are. But yes, nothing compares to Mick's scores.

Yeah, that's why I said Id fu*** up... I think they should apologize to see him and make him comeback, well one can dream lol

Hullshult would have been great, but they went for the souless trash... sad stuff man. At least the game is great

...let's not get carried away with what a musical connoisseur you are because you quite like well-produced heavy guitar instrumentals off a computer game, dude. Pretty much everybody else here does too, it's the forum for a Doom game.

Ask Mick Gordon if he would like you to crap on the work of someone else who does the same job he does whilst using his name as an excuse. Go on, see if he says yes please heap abuse on other artists whose work just got released in my name.

i really like the music, but i feel like the game doesnt do it justice. it sounds quieter than in eternal even on 100 volume. I heard a lot of people compare the soundtrack to thrash metal which makes a lot of sense, but it doesnt get me as hyped as the music in eternal and TAG. its still good, but Mick and the TAG soundtracks are such a high bar to pass
