Prince Ahzrak bossfight

Don't want to spoil anything here for those who didn't finish the game yet so those people shouldn't even open this thread.

So what do you guys think about the Prince Ahzrak fights?
Am i the only one who thinks they way overdone it?

I don't mean the difficulty or the fight mechanics.
I mean the amount of time and phases how often and much we have to fight him.
The 1st time we fight him he has 3 phases.
Then he flees and in the final chapter we fight him again.
I personally got very bored by always fighting him for so long.


What do you guys think?

He dies pretty quickly, so I never felt like he overstayed his welcome and both fights with him have different mechanics, so it hasn't become stale to me, even in multiple playthroughs.

...Unlike The Dark Lord in Ancient Gods 2, who I hate fighting so much it actively deters me from replaying that DLC. He got stale, annoying and boring before I even completed it the first time.

He rememinds me of a mid-tier boss fight in First Berserker Khazan, but longer. So, not bad overall. There are a few attacks that killed me before they hit me(the red spikes, both the big and little ones) but besides that he's fine. It was fun.

I do agree that it was a little over kill. A little long. How is the seconds to last level called Final Battle and then you have to run through a whole extra level to fight the same guy again lol

Yeah exactly that's what i meant. Feels like a chase. Or like in movies when you say: "ah come on get that dude already" :D
