This game is a downgrade in every aspect over Doom Eternal

The gore is massively reduced (current executions are a joke), the pacing is slow and boring, the parry mechanic gets old pretty fast, and the movement nerf makes everything much less fun.

The levels are really large, and running through them gets tiring pretty quickly. THE SOUNDTRACK is non existent. Huge step back.

Luckily, I got this on Game Pass.

It's not a fix, it's first game with a speed slider, I argued on this since age, so games are more compatible with growing population of quite more aged players.

But many players quoted that game default speed isn't the best for them, 120% seems change the gameplay feel in deep.

Luckily, I got this on Game Pass.

Although I like the fact that they keep trying something new with each game, this ones my least favorite out of the new trilogy. Its far less brutal and not as fast paced. I struggled to get through the last 4 chapters due to just losing interest in the gameplay towards the end. I ended up starting a new save file on Doom 2016 because its always felt like DA is missing that special sauce. Played on GP as well and I am glad its on there cause id have been a little heated if I paid full price for this

I like this one best out of the newer dooms, with 2016 in second place. It's an upgrade in every way except that 2016 is more in keeping with the original aesthetic in most ways. Guess it's going to vary from person to person.

This is one of the best Dooms I have played so far. You can keep Doom Eternal with its Mario jump'n run horror.

I agree I think the parry thing is way overused. It's not a bad game but compared to the last 2 games, its definitely my least favorite.

Not at all how it works. If you are unwilling to use the tools the game gives you to adjust the difficulty to your liking, then you have no right to complain.
