Is the 3rd doom always cursed to be not as good/divisive compared to older ones?

I played doom 3 at release date in 2004 when none of the computers were powerful enough to run it maxed at 60 fps. i played it at mecium 640x480 60 fps. i had Athlon XP and Geforce 5700LE.When diid my next upgrade in 2006 and got Athlon X2 and 7900GR iplayed it atU ltra 1280x1024 60 fps. Now with my Ryzen 1700 and RX 6700XT 12 GB RED DEVIL iw ill play THE DARK AGES at ULTRA NIGHTMARE 1440P 60 FPS WITH FSR. Also now we odnt havesuch problems like in 2004 because a 2025 high end pc can run all gams maxed 1440p 100+ fps.

This game is 700000x better than Doom 3 so that's an insane stretch.

Also no one cares about the opinions of whiners. It's just as good as Doom 2016 andEternal. The problem is Doom 1, Doom 2, Final Doom or Ultimate Doom will always be 11/10 and no game will ever hold up to them including from Id.

They didn't "change the gameplay drastically." They literally just added parrying.

If you're so concerned about parrying, you don't have to do it. Then it will feel like you're playing Doom 2.

Same could be said for you. Even this forum was litered in the past days since launch with threads and comments of people claiming how they hated Eternal. Also the good old debate came up a lot of times whether or not Doom3 was a good game. Which was very divisive always. So yeah....your opinion isn't a general truth.

I like this one about equally as much as eternal. Just be thankful that it's better than Doom 2016 and count your blessings lol. Even 2016 wasn't terrible.
