pffft. It's not easy now, not compared to any modern arpg's. Now I'm Googling trying to figure out why I suck so much.
I think games were just built different in the old days. They are now all about mass appeal and making sure anyone can win. Unless you're playing a game specifically built to be difficult (Dark Souls type games) they are all super easy today.
But yeah OP. It's not just the old shooters. It's the old everything. They are all much harder then anything out today.
We laugh about it now, but I wanted to punch him in the face when he finally told me you have to let yourself die, and not to reset.
