I found that the latest Nvidia driver breaks this game. I rolled back to my old one and am having zero issues since. From what i understand use version 572.83 or earlyer. Hope this helps.

This is a helpful tip/PSA for GeForce GPU users using the latest driver and having freezing/crashing issues.

You can also submit feedback to Nvidia so they can eventually fix the issue in a future Game-Ready driver update.
