DOOM: The Dark Ages

The Dark Ages vs. Eternal in one sentence.
Unlike in Eternal, in The Dark Ages, I have finished levels and IMMEDIATELY replayed them because it was fun as hell.

i can see where you are coming from but objectively doom eternal is the better game cause it has more content and doesn't cost an arm and a leg . That is fact alone.

I don't think you can factor the price into the quality of a game, that's like saying a movie isn't Oscar worthy because the movie tickets were expensive.

Price is a real thing, it might even be an obstacle for some, but it's not a part of the quality of the game. If that was a thing, the Steam version wouldn't be as "good" as the Game Pass version.

Imagine someone arguing it's a 9/10 on Game Pass if you subscribe for $12.99 a month, only a 6/10 on Steam because it costs $80... AND if you are brand new to Game Pass and get the first month for $1, it's a 10/10.
Both games were like this for me but Eternal took a lot of overcoming my skill issues before the addiction took over. Not much of a mountain to climb with TDA but it still feels good to play.... probably not as replayable as Eternal's campaign though - I hate the first 4 levels.

I haven't replayed a single level in TDA but I replayed Eternal about 20 times, plus the DLC maybe 10 times, and countless hours in multiplayer. According to your metric, unless more people chime in, Eternal is statistically better.
