Escape and Tab both do an alt-tab

When I press escape to pause, it alt-tabs me out of the game, and I can’t type into browsers at all. When I tab to see the map, it pulls up a small version of the alt-tab menu that just shows the app icons, and doesnt go away unless I click escape or tab again. How do I fix this?
