I need to bind keys to individual weapons

I need to bind keys to individual weapons. The current system where you bind to weapon types is ass. No, I will not use the wheel, there's a reason I bought this game for pc.

you can't bind keys to individual weapons, only to weapon "categories". like, the same key will correspond to both the small shotgun and double barrel one. sometimes you press the key expecting the double barrel and you get the small shotgun. then you have to press again, but this game has very slow weapon swap so you're already dead by the time the double barrel comes out.

If you bind multiple keys to the same category, it works as you'd expect.

Doom and Doom 2 both used the same solution, with "1" being bound to both chainsaw and fist, and "3" being bound to both shotguns.

There's a strange system here. First you have to press the button you want to bind, then press the one you want to delete.
