Crashes, crashes, crashes
I'm experiencing random crashes spread around the game.
The average gaming time before getting a crash is roughly 10 minutes but can be shorter.

I reached the Forest chapter (after Siege part 2) and it's unplayable. Not because it's not smooth (I've got an high end PC and everything run flawlessly), but because of super-frequent crashes. It crashes when I'm still on full fight, and I've to start it again.

Do someone have my same issues? Do someone have a fix? Thanks

What kind of GPU you are using?
Hi :) May 22 @ 6:40am
i am having the same issues, sometimes in 5 minutes after starting a level, sometimes 20. i am using a geforce rtx 4070

I've got 4070 super and had the same issue. Fixed it by installing 576.28 driver version. Don't use two latest versions of Nvidia driver.

Hoping this works for me as I have the same card and it keeps crashing.

i've got same problem while playing Talos Principle: Reawakened, Forza Motorsport and Doom Dark Ages - the reason was the driver.

I had crashes too when I turned vsync off, after about 10 minutes or so the game would freeze and be unresponsive. Turning it back on seems to have fixed it though

No negative, but really glad for you. I was really excited with the release of new Doom, but sadly these problems with crushes and some softlock really ruined the first impression.

What type of hard drive or SSD are you using?
And how fast are they? The same goes for the RAM.

I have a "3090 OC 24Gb Tuf" and haven't had a single crash yet. Either you're lacking RAM or the hard drive is too slow. It certainly can't be the graphics card you have.

also 28 is freezing.. its the same. .28 just holds a little longer, but that bug ingame is still rpesent. it will freeze
Turn off overlays, e.g. GPUTweak3 and others. Check the dmp file with windbg, click on analyze to see the stack trace. It will show where it crashed.

I haven't got a fix, but my next test was to disable sync'd computing in the settings menu (even though it works for me in other games), but I can't test it because Denuvo suddenly decided I pirated the game and I'm not allowed to play anymore.... :steamfacepalm:

nope, I will not do anything of this. For 80 eur, it needs to work out of the box.... they need to fix their game ;)
