How to speed up weapons mastering?

Some, like energy ones, are TERRIBLY slow to complete, on UV difficulty enemies run out much faster than necessary to score a result.

Man i despise weapon mastery challenges in every game. They slow down and break the gameplay flow so heavily.

But to your question....I don't know. I remember in Doom 2016 I cheated in in a way that whenever i killed myself, the weapon mastery and map challenge progress remained :D Never tested if that works here as well or not.

If you just want to farm the weapon masters, turn down your damage so demons live longer. I did that playing on nightmare for a few of them. The shredder was kinda a pain to get.
