Are the Hell Fighter Ships in Chapter 5 supposed to be missable?

Xbox version, to be clear.

I was playing Chapter 5 and trying to get the 3rd Hell Fighter Ship for the challenge, but when going through the crevice thing in front of the Hell Carrier, I got stuck on a wall and the Hell Fighter flew off. Now I can't seem to find it no matter where I look. Did it despawn cause I got stuck and it went too far? Do I have to restart the chapter to finish the challenge?

You may have to restart from checkpoint, but on the plus side, as long as it isn't restart level from beginning, you should retain the progress from that challenge.

Shoot. I already took care of the Hell Carrier, so I might be screwed. Gonna try it anyway and see what happens.

Edit: Well, on the plus side, I won't need to redo the other challenges & re-collect the stuff when I redo the level for it.

Edit 2: Nvm, there's a 4th ship in case of emergency. Got the challenge done!
