RTX 3080 for 3440x1440p 120Hz monitor

So is the GPU good enough for that?

I AM NOT wasting cash on another nvidia GPU - at least until prices drop significantly.

I assume I will need to use DLSS upscaling.

It has 10GD VRAM.
I understand there is an option to reduce the VRAM usage in game to help with that.

Has anyone have the same GPU & monitor specs?
If so how well does it play?

Well my 3060 is plenty good enough to play at 1080p. At 1440p can't be sure, but the game is pretty well optimised and you can always use a bit more upscaling if needed so I'd imagine you'd be ok

RX6800 which is basically a slightly weaker 3080 with more Vram in raster performance so you'll do even better because the RX6000S suck at RT.

3440x1440p a mix of max & high settings reflections & shadows are high with Balanced Xess I'm around the 70-80fps never under 60fps usually the lowest it gets in the most intense action is 65fps.

Why I use Balanced Xess it looks better & runs better than Quilty FSR.

O PS my cpu is the 5800x3d.

just recently finished the game with a RTX 3080 ti 12900kf , 32 gb ddr4, nvme 3 ssd on 3440/1440p . i had max settings but you have to use dlss quality since the 3080 ti is like 15% more powerfull you might need to go bit more agressive with dlss.

max settings locked 60 the entire game except for like 2 fps drops rarly though

i played on game pass btw definilty a buy but im patient gonna wait for 30% discount. i live in australia so its like 119$ Aussie dollars.

Anything below 100Hz is not enough for me.

well i did that also you can only do with maxing dlss down which make the imagine very soft dont worry about the other settings they dont do jack ♥♥♥♥♥.

to locked 100 fps you need to go ultra performance my 3080ti is downclocked by about 10% so you should be able to geting near locked but you will lose a lot of image quality.
