So much for the weird narrative around this game flopping. They said players instead of sales, meaning that GamePass was a big factor in this number. Which isn’t surprising, this was always going to be a GamePass game at the game’s price point.

It's a sweet victory for those of us who knew Game Pass played a significant role in the low numbers seen here on Steam, that's for sure. The sweetest part of all though, by far, is just how foolish it makes all of the trolls look who were celebrating the game's 'failure.' Talk about taking a massive L!

If you see KCD2 launch despite being garbage game and ruined by DEI and Daniel Vavra flipping script. They actually mentioned 2M copies sold in 24Hours. That's called money generation. Plus it's steam charts also show a huge CCU count.

KC2 wasnt on gamepass and his price tag was way below than doom's. Hope it helps to understand why the metrics used by Warhorse and Bethesda are different. And KC2 is great. With all this bad take, you should work at IGN.

When you saw the breaking news about this game being the biggest launch in id's history, I can't even begin to imagine how you must have felt. Talk about taking one hell of a massive 'L.' And now all you can do is say "Buh buh... but player numbers don't matter! It's the sales you gotta worry about!" That is just too funny! The copium is real with you guys, and I'm loving it.
