Watch it in 4K!

Dark Ages is a clear evolution of the series, at least on technical level. It may have not evolved for everyone's taste (myself included), but it is evolution nonetheless and credit is due where is due for ID Software.

Modern trilogy doesn't feel like trilogy as all three play completely different.

Psst, there are more than three, and the "trilogy" did have one thing in common: the name DOOM and fantastic BOOM BOOM , not to mention flying body parts.

Seriously, just enjoy the game and stop complaining about nothing.

Wasn't complaining though.
It accomplished feeling like a prequel. Everything is pre-Supermarine Doom Guy so it feels more industrial and archaic. A little clunkier as a result. Reminds me more of a first person Gears Of War, lik had they gone back and showed us the Ancient COG order. This is what I'd imagine it would look and feel like. Very Gears. I really miss the grapple/ meat hook thing though.

Doom TDA has mechs and Dragon. We also get to kill Demon Titans in this game.
