Did not receive stream drops

There was a promotional thing yesterday where if you went on Dark Ages' Steam page and watched a livestream for at least 10 minutes, you would earn Doom themed items in your account. I left the stream up for more than 10 minutes and when I came back I got nothing.
Refreshing or restarting Steam yields nothing in my account either.

I tried turning to Steam support except their page says to discuss the problem with the community since developers frequently read the message boards. I'm sure the Steam items will come to the points shop under what's essentially a price tag, but it still feels pretty lousy that I followed their instructions and received zero.

I saw the same, watched the video through the Steam Store page and didn't get the drops either. I stuck with the video as I was trying to convince myself not to refund the game. Towards the end of the video you get the drops only if watched through Twitch/Discord or something. You do not get them if watched (for the silly 10 minute requirement) through Steam or YouTube. I requested a refund because its just not a whole lot of fun for the $100 buy-in price, and in addition to that, you've got to watch 10 minutes of a video that's not clearly outlined to require specific platforms to get the interesting drops.

They worked for me not long ago.

About 40 mins from the end of the stream, Joshua mentioned that they were aware of some problems with the Steam drops, that they were looking at it.

Apparently the video will be on loop on the store page for a week, so you should eventually be able to get them, like I said they dropped for me ok.

That's good to hear. The stream is currently back up on the Dark Ages store page, it doesn't load on the Steam desktop client although it does work in a browser. Going to leave it open for 10 minutes again and see what happens.

UPDATE:
I received my drops in what felt like less than 10 minutes, the livestream works by going to the game's store page on a browser and logging into your account, not the desktop client.

How do you know you've got the drops? Is it emailed or anything?

I got mine yesterday, just had to watch for around an hour. Then I got a notification with a code used at the Bethesda site to claim the skin. Check your notifications for a code on twitch.

The Steam drops (avatar, stickers etc) just drop into your Steam inventory after about 10 mins of watching the stream on the store page.

Ah, I see; i didnt know there are steam drops and twitch drops for different things. Do i need to make a twitch account then?

Yeah, you will need to make a Twitch account if you want The Slayers Club skin for the Doom Slayer in-game. You have to then link your Bethesada account to that Twitch account.

I tried and failed to get the Twitch dropped skin a couple of hours ago, but I'm sure that will be working again soon.

The Steam drops are just little stickers and an avatar pic and avatar frame for using on Steam (like my current avatar).

I don't have the game yet although I did get the guardian skin from Twitch. It'll be saved on my Bethesda account until I can redeem it whenever that will be, Doom Eternal worked the same way. I hope Dark Ages goes on sale for a good discount this summer, it looks neat but I don't want to pay $60/$70.

You'll get a notification in the Steam desktop client that you've received the drops, same as how you received a notification for this reply.

If you've got an account with Nvidia, there's another in-game Doom Slayer skin called 'Verdant' available through the Nvidia app - check this thread.
