doom dark ages stuttering

I did a clean install of the nvidia driver 576.40 on my Rog Strix Laptop

I can play in 2560x1600 but cutscenes and gameplay has stuttering... and lag.

They did not consider optimizing the game for lower end cards..... typical....

I can play Doom Eternal in 2560x1600 Ultra graphics settings and get smooth performance.....on a 4060

I had framerate drops from 160+ to 60-80 FPS in the area before the boar enemy.

I don't know if it was due to the physics effects because there was a lot of rubble lying around.

use 576.28 i was having all sorts of issues with the latest driver and going back to this one fixed everything for me.

i installed the desktop version by looking it up on google

any previous version should work i think its just the newest one that has the freezing and stuttering.

I got low fps and stuttering choppy sounds with .40 driver and 2560x1600 could not be smooth.

other videos are showing 4060 laptops doing 1080 and 1440 smooth gameplay

I gave upo earlier im wasting my day away trying to get 2560x1600 smooth gameplay

Doom Eternal gives me ultra max 2560x1600 smopoth gameplay...

I am undoing the damage and moving on to older games.

you have to use an older driver man the newest one is not bugged.
