Do I need to update my drivers?

I downloaded the 576.42 driver for nvidia today on my 4080 founders and it gave me the black screen of death. I was able to revert back to my old driver from safe boot but will not having the driver make it so I can't play?

I have the same question don’t wanna move either because the latest drivers are plagued with issues based on forum reports.

On Chapter 3 running Studio Driver 572.60 on a 2080Ti super smooth.

I didn't update driver too but I notice something strange with foliage in the first chapter, it's seem like leaves are moving very fast and causing some weird artifact around the edge of them.

Be careful with updating your nvidia drivers. they tend to break a lot more than they supposedly fix.

I suggest checking online what people say about the latest driver, before you update. You might avoid some pc ruining bugs that way.
