Driver Problems
I have the latest NVIDIA drivers, 576.40 but the game doesnt run, i have a 4070 TI Super and an AMD 7800X3D, 64 gigs of ram. The error says "Please ensure you are on the latest drivers", and crashes when i click play/continue. i have restarted my computer, and reinstalled drivers, how do i fix this?

For those here having trouble getting the game to start. If you have a CPU that has an integrated graphics adapter, try going into Device Manager and disabling it. My game wouldn't start, but once I disabled the integrated graphics adapter that my 7800X3D has, the sgame started right up.

Just start Device Manager, look in the "Display adapters" section, and you'll see your graphics card and another choice listed there (for me, it said "AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics"). Disable the one that's not your graphics card, and you'll potentially be good to go.

That is not an error. You just need to click the continue/play button.

Uninstall and then reinstall the latest drivers. I have 576.40 and it runs without issue.

Try driver version 566.36. All versions after that have had known stability issues.

Google: gamers nexus nvidia drivers

dont see the point in you posting this. either way devs use ray tracing because its faster than raster, giving devs more time to make the game better

You're welcome.

That version was confirmed to work good on this thread:

1. Boot into Safe Mode.
2. Run Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU). You can get it by searching "Display Driver Uninstaller Guru3D" on Google.
Or use the link: https://www.guru3d.com/download/display-driver-uninstaller-download/
3. Make sure you have the latest NVIDIA drivers already downloaded before starting.
4. While still in Safe Mode, install the new drivers. Then reboot and test your setup.

I followed this process with no issues. ReShade still worked fine aside from a minor warning. Everything ran smoothly on driver version 576.40 with all in-game settings on Ultra Nightmare.

System Specs:

Operating System: Windows 11 Home 64-bit
CPU: Intel Core i9-13900KF (Raptor Lake) @ 3.0GHz
RAM: 64GB DDR5 (4x16GB) @ 6000 MT/s
Motherboard: ASUS PRIME Z690-P WIFI (LGA1700)
Graphics: Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti 12GB
Storage: NVMe only (no SATA drives)

566.36 is not supported by DOOM TDA. Will likely not work.
