Game randomly freezes.
So I can run the game just fine, I am playing with 80 frames constantly, my drivers are up to date, and I even verified my games files... Despite all of this, the game will just randomly freeze (even in cutscenes) for what seems to be no reason. Any fix??

Try rolling your drivers back. I was crashing constantly with the ones released today, but since rolling back to what I had before the game is running fine.
I updated to the latest NVIDIA drivers before starting... I boot up the game... I get a warning notification from ID that I should get the latest NVIDIA driver update... a few minutes in the game freezes. Reinstalled the driver & restarted, no difference. I'll try rolling back.
It seems that rolling back my drivers has fixed the issue! I guess just ignore ID's warnings and don't update drivers until the issue is fixed.

Another thread like this one mentioned turning off NVIDIA Reflex and that's what I did. So far, hasn't frozen yet

same with above. turning off Nvidia reflex no freeze so far
im also having random freezes but able to run the game just fine
old drivers and no freezes here.
if its downloaded on an external drive try downloading it straight to the pc. it solved all the issues i had upon start
That's why I say ray tracing sucks. It adds lots of stability and performance issues to the games.

just roll your drivers back the drivers the game made you get before you played it the first time are what are causing the freezes. roll back to 572.83 and the freezes SHOULD stop.

I'm having this same issue. It froze permanently twice. once when I was just looking at the slayer model in the main menu about 5 minutes into launching the game and the second time while I was playing the campaign, around after the first glory kill tutorial. Completely random and the freeze just keeps the screen still and has audio playing in the background. so wierd.
update, yeah rolling my drivers back to 572.83 works just fine, also for those who use an amd/nvidia pc be sure do disable the amd graphics adaptor or it will try to run on the cpu graphics

i had the same problem on my i5 14600k, rtx 4070 super oc, I updated bios and nvidia drivers and i did not roll back drivers, I turned off NVIDIA Reflex and now the game is working fine now.
i rolled back drivers and this did it. this is certainly an nvidia issue based on how many people are able to resolve this with gpu settings and drivers
Anyone with an AMD GPU found a fix?

If it is not a driver issue, do make sure the game is on an SSD. Also some people in this thread stated that turning off Nvidia reflex fixed it, so maybe try turning off AMD Anti-lag.
